One of the highest cable stayed bridges in the world, the Guozigou may also be the most remote cable stayed bridge in the worldLocated in China’s largest and most northwesterly province of Xinjiang, the 4-lane structure consists of two extremely tall H-frame ladder towers with heights of 707 feet (215.5 mtrs) and 687 feet (209.5 mtrs).

With so much attention focused on the many high bridges in western China, it is nice to finally be able show the highest bridge in the eastern half of the country. Rising 466 feet (142 mtrs) is Tianchi bridge, the second highest concrete arch in China. The 673 foot (205 mtr) main span is also one of the world’s longer concrete arch spans. Tianchi may also be known as the Xingduicha bridge.
