In central Italy on the SS650 road (SS means Strada Statale) there is a succession of two high viaducts.  The highest is near the town of Bagnoli del Trigno where the Viadotto Trigno rises 377 feet (115 mtrs) above the river.  A classic stone arch bridge sits just below the towering viaduct.  Just to the west there is the Viadotto Gamberale around 279 feet (85 mtrs) high with a similar lineup of tall towers and short spans.
