Watarirasshaitsuri Footbridge is only the second pedestrian crossing in Japan to exceed 100 meters in height after the Kokonoe "Yume" Otsurihashi Footbridge. The span crosses over the spectacular Setoaikyo Canyon with vertical cliffs framing the face of the Kawamata Dam.
