Gulinhe #1 Bridge is one of several giant beam spans on the Xugu expressway that traverse along the Gulin River canyon in Southeastern Sichuan Province. The 4-lane expressway connects the G76 in Sichuan Province with the Renchi expressway in Guizhou Province. Although the Gulinhe #1 Bridge opened in 2016, the expressway will remain largely unused until the giant Chishuihe Chajiaotan Bridge is completed in 2020 across the Chishi River with a massive main span of 1,200 meters.
