Xiamacao Bridge is part of an approach road to access the G69 expresway in Gansu Province. The Yinchuan to Baise stretch of the G69 expressway has at least a dozen other giant beam viaducts including the nearby Tianninggou Bridge as well as the Zhidanghe and Sanshuihe Bridges. Xiamacao Bridge has a main span configuration of 2x140 meters on a central pier 126 meters tall.
