One of several high bridges on the new Fengfu expressway between Fengdu and Fuling, the 120 meter span prestressed T-beam frame Wenxi Bridge crosses a small tributary of the Yangtze River. The giant 3 gorges reservoir has crept up this river creating a lake about 15 meters deep beneath the span.
