One of the highest concrete cantilevered beam spans on the railway line between Kunming and the Vietnam border, the Amojiang Railway Bridge crosses about 105 meters above a reservoir at least 30 meters deep. The tallest pier is 89.5 meters.
Also on this railway line is the colossal Yuanjiang Railway Bridge with its 154 meter and 141 meter tall concrete piers supporting the highest truss span in the world at 223 meters.
