Songkanhe Bridge is one of at least a dozen high beam bridges on the 6-lane Chongqing to Guiyang 2nd expressway. Several kilometers to the north is the similar sized Zaoduhe Bridge.
The double beam span configuration of Songkanhe Bridge is 3x40 +80+2x150+80 +5x40 meters on piers 96, 85 and 49 meters.
