Shuiyuan Footbridge
雙龍七彩吊橋
Nantou, Taiwan, China
(295) feet high / (90) meters high
1,122 foot span / 342 meter span
2020
With a massive main span of 342 meters, the Shuiyuan or Shuanglong Waterfall Footbridge is Taiwan's 2nd longest pedestrian crossing. Completed in 2020, the colorful new Tibet-style footbridge replaces an older Shuiyuan crossing that is parallel to the new span. The older bridge of approximately 330 meters carries two water pipes. Both spans cross over two gullies that overlook a canyon with at least two major streams with several waterfalls including the "Dragon Waterfall".
