Dafang Bridge is located on the east end of the six lane G326 Bijie South Ring Expressway crossing over a deep section of the region's famous Luojiaohe River. The region has a large concentration of high bridges around the Bijie Airport.
The main span is a 220 meter concrete arch with a total length of 367 meters including 30 meter approach spans.
The arch was constructed with a highline and tiebacks. During construction a temporary 135 meter high footbridge allowed workers to easily access both sided of the gorge.
Several kilometers to the east is the Pulu Bridge with a height of 106 meters.
