Tangjiahe Bridge is part of a new 3rd level local highway that will connect mountainous regions of Baojing County that have been separated by the deep gorge of the Tangjia River. The steep canyon walls will support a spectacular concrete filled steel arch span of 200 meters. The 8.5 meter roadway will have a total length of 280 meters with two 20 meter approach spans on either side of the 200 meter main arch.
A parallel one-lane construction access suspension bridge will be nearly as high as the arch span.
