The Ganmingxi Railway Bridge is the highest arch along the Yifu HSR line between Wuhan and Chongqing. The concrete span of 316 meters was built over the canyon with a series of anchored tieback cable stays.one of the largest cable stayed road / railway bridges in the world with a main span of 736 meters supported by towers as tall as 292 meters. The deck is also one of the widest in the world at 55.6 meters.
The Ganmingxi Railway Bridge has a total length of 510.8 meters with a deck span configuration of 36 + 2x48 + 6x38 + 2x48 + 36 meters.
The Yangtze River crossing is the largest bridge along the Yifu HSR line between Wuhan and Chongqing. This amazing route has more than a dozen high level bridges including the equally impressive cable stayed Chaibuxi Railway Bridge with a main span of 680 meters, the Zhongjianhe Railway arch bridge with a 400 meter span and the colossal Caijiagou Railway Bridge with the world's tallest railway bridge pier of 165 meters.
