Dahegou Bridge is a tunnel to tunnel set of two parallel through-arch bridges on the mountainous G4216 Yibin to Panzhihua Expressway that has several other high bridges and many long tunnels.

The route is also unique for having more large span arch bridges than any other highway on earth with a total of seven. These massive concrete and CFST arches include Xi'ninghe, Dahegou, Shangwujiao, Xisujiaohe, Yuewulada, Liutonghe and Daheba Bridges.

The area just north of Dahegou Bridge is home to nearly 10 high bridges that have all been partially submerged in the reservoir behind the Xiangjiaba Dam across the Yangtze River (Jinsha Jiang) 70 kilometers downstream to the east including Xi'ninghe Bridge, the local route X163 Xi'ninghe Bridge, the S307 Xi'ninghe Bridge, Daqiaoxiang, Jinshajiang Bridge Xinshi, Jinshajiang Nan'an Bridge, Zhongduhe Expressway Bridge, Zhongduhe G213 Bridge and the Yangliuba Bridge.
