One of the tallest cable stayed bridges in Yunnan Province, the Guangming Niulanjiang Bridge is the largest span along the Luqiao Expressway between Zhaotong and Qiaojia cities. The 822 meter long crossing has a span length of 370 meters between two towers of an unknown height.
The much more direct 4-lane Luqiao Expressway bypasses the older 2-lane route that opened in 2011.
