The Hirosagawa Railway Bridge is one of Japan's few high level rail line crossings. Opened in 1931, the trestle has two main towers and several short spans that mimic the style of trestle that was also being constructed in the United States during this time period. The bold red local route 48 Hirose River arch bridge parallels the trestle offering a great viewpoint to catch a crossing train.
