The G75 was Guizhou's earliest high bridge expressway with many large beam spans opening along it between 2005 and 2006. The Laowangtian Bridge is among the least known crossing the tree-filled Madu River gorge that is difficult to access. The 4-lane route is heavily used and was the first major connection between Guiyang and Chongqing cities.
