The G75 was Guizhou's earliest high bridge expressway with many large beam spans opening along it between 2005 and 2006. The 526 meter long Laowangtian Bridge is among the least known spans crossing more then 100 meters above the largely inaccessible tree-filled Madu River gorge. The 4-lane route is heavily used and was the first major connection between Guiyang and Chongqing cities.
