Shilianghe Bridge
石亮河特大桥
Gulin, Sichuan, China
(656) feet high / (200) meters high
(656) foot span / (200) meter span
2015

Shilianghe is one of 4 towering beam bridges on the 70 kilometer Xugu expressway that connects the city of Xuyong on the G76 with the city of Gulin and eventually the Chishui River gorge where it will connect with the Renchi expressway in Guizhou. The second phase of the expressway will not start until maybe 2015 and will include a giant suspension bridge more then 300 meters high across the Chishui River.

The Shilianghe Bridge is located just a kilometer east of the G76 where the new expressway breaks off on its journey east along the Gulin River canyon. The Shilianhe gorge has a steep V-shape requiring a long central span on tall piers.

Other high bridges on the expressway include the Luosizhai Bridge and two crossings of the Gulin River.
