Xixihe Aqueduct Bridge
西溪河渡槽
Honglinxiang, Guizhou, China
(335) feet high / (102) meters high
354 foot span / 108 meter span
2021

The Xixihe River gorge has several high bridges including a railway and two highway bridges over 200 meters in height. But the most unusual of these spans is surely the Xixihe Aqueduct Bridge that carries a waterline more then 100 meters above the river.

Among all the world's aqueduct bridges, only the Longchang Aqueduct Bridge near Anshun is higher and both aqueducts were created from channels behind the Jiayan Dam of the Liuchonghe River. The north channel route crosses the Xixhe gorge while the south channel route crosses the Longchang Aqueduct.
