Zhoubadeng Railway Bridge
周八蹬大桥
Guyuxiang, Chongqing, China
(312) feet high / (95) meters high
131 foot span / 40 meter span
2010

Zhoubadeng Railway Bridge is towards the eastern end of the Yi-Wan Railway in Chongqing Province. The beam span is one at least 10 crossings over 90 meters in height on the incredible Yi-Wan Railway line that runs between Yichang near the 3 Gorges Dam to Wanxian and Chongqing City on the Yangtze River. With more than 70 percent of the route either in a tunnel or on a bridge, the complex geology of the terrain has forced the engineers to overcome landslides, falling rock and steep terrain.

Other high spans include Yexihe, Dukouhe, Makou, Longwangmiao, Shuangliu, Sibuhe, Mashuihe, Yeyabang and Luobuxi Bridges.

Zhoubadeng has a span configuration of 1x24+6x32 +48+80+48 +4x32+2x24 meters atop a central pier 77.5 meters tall. The total length is 585 meters.
