Constructed in the late 60s, the A12 / E80 motorway stretches for several hundred kilometers between Genoa and Rome, Italy with dozens of tunnels and bridges punching in and out of the spectacular mountains of the Liguria and Tuscany coastline overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Completed in 1969, the 593 meter long Bisagno Bridge has three main prestressed beam spans of approximately 115 meters across a river that flows down into Genoa City. Just to the west is the similar Veilino Bridge.
