Located along the start of a giant 360 degree mountain tunnel on the G4216 Expressway, the Guanyinyan Bridge consists of two main beam spans of 135 meters supported by a central pier 125 meters tall.

Just to the south is the Lugao Bridge Number 2, One of the tallest and most complex bridge interchanges in Sichuan Province. The north end of the 1,181 meter long structure has tall spiral exit piers that sprawl like spaghetti across the river canyon.
