Houhe Arch Bridge is a 2-lane concrete arch in a remote area of Youyang County in Chongqing. The main span of 180 meters has a rise of 30 meters for a 6:1 ratio. The deck is 105 meters above a reservoir or 145 meters above the original river level. The 303 meter long structure has approach spans of 20 meters.
The main arch rib was built with a high line and a series of stays that held the arch sections in place before the crown was closed.
