Houhe Arch Bridge is a 2-lane concrete arch on a remote area of Youyang County in Chongqing. The main span of 180 meters leaps across a small reservoir. The deck is 105 meters above the water or 145 meters above the original river level. The 303 meter long structure has approach spans of 20 meters.
The main arch rib was built with a high line and a series of stays that held the arch sections in place before the crown was closed.
