The Wujiang River cable stayed bridge is the largest of several big bridges along the G69 Yinbai expressway that runs between Fuling and Fengdu along the east side of the Yangtze River.

Located 6 kilometers upstream of the confluence of the Wujiang and Yangtze rivers, the crossing is most notable for the double plane A-frame pylons which stand 204.8 meters tall on the Fuling side and 200.9 meters tall on the Fengdu side.

The four-lane deck has a length of 630 meters with a configuration of 52 +105 +320 +105 +48 meters. The deck is approximately 120 meters to the full reservoir formed by the 3 Gorges dam or approximately 150 meters to the original level of the Wujiang River and has a width of 26.9 meters.

The giant Wu River is one of the 5 largest tributaries of the entire Yangtze River and has a collection of high bridges greater then any river on earth along with the Beipanjiang.
