Yunnanzhuang Bridge is the third of China's great arch-beam hybrid spans that was first developed for the Beipanjiang Bridge Shuipan in the mountains west of Liupanshui, Guizhou and the Ganxi Bridge also in Guizhou.
Located just 6 kilometers to the west is the even higher Loushuihe Bridge with a height of 310 meters. The expressway eventually joins with the G69 Expressway in Yuyangguanzhen, Hubei.
Just downstream of the Yunnanzhuang Bridge is the local 4-lane Yunnanzhuang Arch Bridge with a height of 110 meters.
